Love to smile

How do you do it?  She asks

Since our happiness became a task

And the frictions of our life

Attacked our hearts with all that strife

"Troubles will always come" I'd say

And they can easily ruin your day

But life moves on; one mile after mile

All you really need is to love to smile

With all the issues and tragedies of our life

I simply loved your being my wife

So many moments with our nostrils flared

I'd rather focus on the good we both shared

Yeah, our issues troubled your mind

But in all of history we were two of a kind

So when sadness hits, I know what to do

I simply think back; cause I love to smile about you
